PIP Booklet Information

The Political Intelligence Profile (PIP)

The Political Intelligence Profile (PIP) is a political skill building booklet that enables people to increase their political influencing ability by becoming more positively politically intelligent in their daily working practices.

Political Intelligence training can be conducted both Individually (through Self-Study, Coaching and Mentoring) and Collectively (through Group or Team-based Learning events) and the PIP booklet helps people to:

1  -  Understand the ' Political Animal ' motivations of themselves and their co-workers
           2  -
Complete a Political Profiling Questionnaire © to identify their current PI Profile
           3  -
Review their current PI Profile, political influencing preferences and practices
           4  -
Reflect on the personal and professional implications and insights of their PI Profile
           5  -
Prioritise the ' Positive ' political skills and practices that someone decides to develop
           6  -
Create a practice orientated political skills-building Action Plan

People usually first encounter a PIP booklet in Workshop contexts where, often for the first time in their career, they are asked to openly and honestly describe and discuss the real world effects that Positive and Negative political practices, policies and processes have had on them and their careers - and those of their co-workers.

But as cathartic as communally shared learning activities can be, an equally profound learning experience can also be enjoyed through self-development activities - after a Workshop has concluded - through reflexivity and self-study.

In fact people who purchased a PIP and worked through its learning process will often report that they not only found it relatively easy to identify and implement small but sustainable changes to their daily political practices using the politically intelligent tools, tips and techniques described in the PIP .   But that in the process of developing a more politically orientated mind and skill-set they were able to have a profoundly positive effect on the political operating practices, processes and policies of their local workplace.

The PIP booklet can only be purchased by people who are qualified TAFPI Facilitators and it's Facilitator Manual is only given to qualified TAFPI Facilitators on completion of their training.
